I'm posting this Friday night, in case people want to get started before I'm ready, for some reason. Stage 20 is going to be utterly epic, at least in its length and stress on the peloton. Whether it matters to the final placings remains to be seen, but with Gutierrez under intense pressure Friday, Simoni's appetite has been whetted for another day of attacks.
This time, it's one last hammerfest: 4000 meters of climbing, highlighted by two Giro legends: the Cima Coppi (highest point) over the Gavia Pass, and the Mortirolo... not to mention the finish up the Passo Aprica, where much of the action should take place. Are you ready yet?
