Stage 9 Open Thread

Tuesday's 169 km stage from Bordeaux to Dax sounds more like a vacation itinerary than a stage of the world's hardest sporting event. The distance is club-ride material; the course is pancake-flat, even the weather looks fab, 80s and light winds.

So obviously the sprinters will be in charge, for the last time in a while. Wherein we can determine... did Tom Boonen really try to use reverse psychology on McEwen? Hey, it's parent-approved, maybe it's worth a try.
