The plot thickens with the race for the green jersey across flattish terrain to Caen. By the starter's gunshot we should hopefully know whether Thor Hushovd's relegation -- which would in his mind end his run for Green -- will stand or not. If it does, Thor will still be swinging his hammer at the end of stages like this one... and without the burden of chasing intermediate points. But then, the points race will be down to McEwen, Boonen, Bennati and Freire.
All of these guys, and a handful of others, should be well positioned in today's finale. Have at it!
