It didn't go quite as planned, but Martin Elminger, shut out of bonuses on the big climb, instead nabbed a two-second bonus on the line for his third-place finish... enough to switch places on GC with yesterday's overall leader, Karl Menzies, now himself one second down. This sets up a nice drama for tomorrow's final stage, a downtown crit in Adelaide, where the two sorta-sprinters will be hunting down time bonuses, and each other. Oh, and Pieter Ghyllebert won the stage, the second for the Choco-Jacks.
