No, that's not the sound of someone running their nails over a blackboard... it's the equally chilling prospect of another round of testosterone testing procedures under the microscope! Floyd Landis has announced his intention to appeal his 2-1 defeat at the USADA to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). Supposedly this announcement is on his website but I don't see it. Anyway, the possibilities include more of the same technical battles, not to mention a dilly of a pickle for ASO if Landis wins. Wouldn't the decision be binding? Wouldn't they have to take back the jersey they're planning to give to Pereiro Monday and return it to Floyd? The ca$h? The ceramic bowl? Who knows. But if you believe that there's no such thing as bad press, then I suppose this is good for cycling.
