There is a great article over at Velonews about amateur cross racer Jon Baker moving his entire family to Belgium for the next 4 months in an attempt to race full time against the pros. His target? The World Championships in Italy.
I don't know that this has ever been tried, let alone done, but I'm going to be following his attempt with a lot of interest. Hopefully it pays off with a ride on the US National team.
