Finally - a social networking site aimed exclusively at us!
(Via Pez)
First there was MySpace, then there was Facebook. Now there is bicipeople, a place where cyclists can do their social networking, log their training miles, plan their season and keep an eye on the competition, all at the same time. Bicipeople brings together your personal rider profile, training diary, teams, rides, bikes, season calendar, photos, videos, favorite news feeds and much, much more, all
in one site. Did we mention that it's all free? So, get over there and set up your own cycling corner of the Web. As they say at bicipeople, "Sempre in bici!" - "Always riding!".

I'm not one for Myspace or Facebook, but this is a resource I would look at for cycling related questions, answers, opinions, and the like (after the PC of course). What I think it could be very handy for is riding and lodging information, both in country and out. If it's one thing I've learned from our blog, we as a community are not shy about basing a vacation around our bikes. Whether it's riding them or watching others ride theirs, we're willing to go those extra miles, and this site could be a treasure trove of information for getting the local lowdown. I'm thinking specifically of DemonCats and his trip to Flanders next April.
In any event, take a look at the site and tell us what you think.
