Sorry for the lack of a thread for Castilla y Leon... if anyone was planning to watch live, well, I'll remember to create a forum for tomorrow, just in case.
- Back on the road, Francisco Jose Ventoso won a bunch sprint at said Vuelta to take stage two. Notable: Maggie Backstedt 6th. Vlad Karpets retains his overall lead.
- At the Coppi e Bartali, Serramenti's Alessandro Bertolini won the morning stage in a sprint over numerous continental pros and Francesco Chicchi. You're Pregnant-Lotto won the 12km afternoon TTT, powered by Cadel Evans and co. Tinkoff's Pavel Brutt holds the overall lead after his second place in the first stage and his team's TTT having only dropped 20 seconds to Lotto.
- WTF? of the day: David Kopp and his broken face will be lining up to race tomorrow at Dwars Door Vlaanderen. This is impossible to imagine for anyone who saw him laid out on the Cipressa Saturday... and yet, that's Cycling.
