Stage Five is the final of the Tour de Georgia's mountain stages and the signature climbing day. It begins at 11:00 a.m. in Dalton and will cover 107 miles/ 172.1 km, featuring another round of the United Community Bank KOM climbs, including Fort Mountain (Category 2), Wolfpen Gap (Category 3). For a fourth consecutive year the finish will be on top of Brasstown Bald Mountain (Hors Category) in Towns County. Brasstown Bald is the highest point in Georgia, at an elevation of 4,784 feet/ 1458 meters. Riders are expected to complete the course between 2:52 p.m. to 3:55 p.m.
