Lance Got Floyd's Back

Shorter LA: don't trust the lab.

IMHO it's a fair point. Not to be confused with Landis being innocent, but there is a fox-in-the-henhouse character to this week's tests. Landis' defense is structured around criticizing the professionalism, motives, etc. of the lab and showing their results are untrustworthy... put the lab on trial, in essence. So going back now and asking the lab to run new tests on his samples, for the trial, with no oversight is not reliable. The lab can't really be considered a neutral entity, something their persistent leaks to L'Equipe underlines. Like I said, that sure doesn't make Landis innocent, but it does mean that the new tests should be re-run with serious oversight before anyone puts faith in the results.
