Thanks to TdFBlog who noticed this first. Versus has its schedule of daily Tour de France coverage posted on its website. The skinny:
- Every day they run live from 8:30-11:30am EDT. At least; some days they start earlier, 7:30 for certain big stages, 7am for the Tignes stage, 6:30 for the Col d'Aubisque stage.
- Just about every day, they rerun a condensed version from 12-2pm, another from 2:30-4:30, and yet another from 5-7pm.
- Just about every night, they run a three-hour version of the replay from 8-11pm, then repeated again starting at midnight.
According to TdFBlog, that averages out to 17 hours of coverage per day. I know we bitch 'n moan every spring when Versus is doing a hatchet job on the Classics or the Giro... but 17 hours? Respect.
