U.S. Cyclocross Nationals: Compton wins fifth straight, Trebon leads men

Katie Compton has won her fifth straight U.S.National Cyclocross Championship. Compton reportedly soloed away from the field, using the power honed in her recent European campaign that included a World Cup win. Georgia Gould of Luna finished second while Rachel Lloyd of California Giant Berry followed in third. Notably, the new U23 national champion, Amy Dombroski of Velo Bella finished fifth in today's elite race. Check out VeloNews for the story.
