Being consumed with the Giro has made it impossible for me to follow the Volta a Catalunya in any meaningful way, but I did think it was worth pointing out that the race is about to get awfully serious. Check out the profiles:
Sorry for the picture blur, everyone's version looks like that. Among the things missing from this race are live video and high resolution graphics. Nevertheless, tomorrow you have the race's only cat-1 climbs as well as the particularly awful Alt de Pedraforca, and Thursday you have a sharp cat-2 climb very close to the line, albeit after a downhill stage. Look for a rather wholesale sorting out tomorrow, with some further jostling and confirmations on Thursday. Not that we can actually watch or anything...
