Today's stage 2 of the Tour of California runs from Sausalito to Santa Cruz, by way of the Golden Gate Bridge (Sweet!) Two climbs, Tunitas Creek and Boony Doon Road, may offer a launch pad for an escape. The summit of Bonny Doon comes with 25 km left to ride. From there, it's a fast, technical descent to the finish in Santa Cruz.
