Full disclosure time: this is the first time I've attended a race in person. Am pretty blown away. It's somewhat perfect that today was a time trial, and I could see each rider individually. Soak it in. This is a great sport to follow from the other side of a flat screen, but it's even more beautiful in person.
Oh, and I have to admit, the Astana kit is pretty cool in person. Not nearly as horrid as I had imagined...
