It is with a heavy heart that I type out the announcement of the Giro d'Italia's final stage. It has been a beautiful three weeks of racing, and endless fun around here. Thanks to so many of you for chipping in, especially Crashdan for his daily wit and wisdom.
While the final GC doesn't appear to be in doubt, you never know. And we should have quite a stage battle as well. Here's a short list of guys who know how to ride a time trial, and are still left in the race: Levi, former world champ Mick Rogers, Lance, Sivtsov, Brajkovic, Lovkvist, Pinotti, Possoni, Boasson Hagen, Zabriskie, Ignatiev, and of course Denis Menchov. Now all of them have been jinxed out of a stage win, so really anything can happen. Enjoy!
