Race reports are an uncertain business. Some riders write fabulously detailed accounts of their days on the bike, while others don't seem to remember anything at all. Some are funny, some are serious, still others are deadly dull.
Amy Dombroski is anything but dull. One of cycling's New England posse, she races cross and mountain bikes for Luna. She's a dirt girl through and through, and a multiple time U23 U.S. National Champion. She's also master of the race report. Recently she rode the elite National Championship race in Bend, Oregon, and returned to tell an eloquent story of a bad luck on a big race day. You should go read it.
Anyone else see any good reading out there today? It's raining again. And flat. Entertain me?
