The city of Richmond, Virginia is going to unveil its bid this morning to host the 2015 UCI World Cycling Championships. This is all a bit out of left field to me, though Richmond has long been a stop on the national racing scene, having hosted the US Cycling Open and stages of the old Tour du Pont. Supposedly the announcement will happen at 10:30 local time, so stay tuned for details shortly. Anyway, I have no clue what its chances are, but if this happens, we'll be there.
