Today marked the start of the Driedaagse West Vlaanderen, with a massive bunch sprint won by Jens Keukeleire, his second win in three days following another (smaller) sprint finish in the GP Le Samyn. West Vlaanderen has plenty of cobbles but can be a little light on the hills -- info is spotty -- but as long as the crosswinds aren't too vicious you can probably expect more sprints. Then again, the race heads to the Flemish coast for the last two stages, which I in my uneducated mind associate with winds. Here's your top five:
- Jens Keukeleire, Cofidis
- Rony Martias, Saur - Sojasun, s.t.
- Paul Voss, Milram, s.t.
- Kristof Goddaert, AG2R, s.t.
- Robert Wagner, Skil, s.t.
