Steegmans Out of Classics

In case you missed it, Sporza says the Shack's Gert Steegmans will miss the spring classics and some six to eight weeks after breaking his collarbone yesterday in the Paris-Nice prologue. According to Dirk DeMol (via @LeviLeipheimer), Steegmans was descending at 75kph when a wind gust lifted him off the ground. He crashed rather horribly and frankly is lucky to have gotten away with a simple collarbone break. All of these guys are underpaid. Anyway, good luck Gert, come back soon.
