I beat DJ!
So, three weeks after that first prologue, much heartbreak and some excitement later, we finally have a TourChampion champion. A big congrats to the inevitable Sparta for his gazillionth (fourth? third? sixth?) TourChampion win. The man obviously understands this game - Contador, J-Rod, Scarponi as solid, dependable climbers; and Cataldo, Nieve and Pinotti who all went in successful breaks. Even the loss of Duarte and the general suckage of Lovkvist didn't hurt him much. Sparta jumped into the lead on stage 18 - the one where Capecchi pipped Pinotti and Seelie to the line - and stayed there til the end. Jonny_Red's Nibbles Nobbles came in second, Wooley7's Lucca Toscana third.
Also, a big congrats to Urlaub, who managed to win two stages overall, out of the entire game. More info and full classicifications, after the jump.
In the sprinty sprint classification Lucca Toscana beat Fake_Klier and I Ragazzi. The KoM-competition is another thing though. Fineco's Toast is our official mountainlord, followed by Urlaub and Yehoo. A big congrats to you all, a big thank you for playing and ... a big apology from me. I promised you I'd update this game daily, and I didn't. This Giro has been difficult for me, and - truth be told - I've also been swamped with work. I promise to be a better organiser by the time the Tour comes along. The game is a lot more fun when you know what's going and you can trash talk your way through every live stage.See you all in July!
