Stage 1 results are just coming through. After Valentina Scandolara led the way over the climb at Castel Gandolfo to claim the green climber's jersey, everyone came back together for the laps around Velletri, then Marianne Vos outpowered Ina-Yoko Teutenberg and Emma Johansson in the uphill sprint to win by a clear distance.
