Over at VeloNews, there's some good news on the sponsorship front. Neal Rogers reports that Amgen will continue its title sponsorship of the Tour of California for two more years. According to the story, rumors put the value of the sponsorship at around $3.6 million per year. Other sources have suggested that the overall budget for the race runs around $10 million, but AEG has never confirmed those numbers. Anyway, it's nice to hear that the race will continue.
