Still in the lead: Team Stybarova p/b Becherovka
With the cancellation of La Route de France there is very little racing in August. This week's round of the Lotto Cycling Cup, won by Chantal Blaak of AA Drinks, was the last race before the Trophée d'Or stagerace 20-24/8. In VDS-terms the loss of LRdF is the equivalent of losing the Vuelta á Espana so it is a major blow. Let's hope for better news on the women's stageracing front for next year
