Paris-Roubaix: Arenberg Trench Gets Approval

So sayeth the organizers, after initial and even renewed concerns earlier this week that there was too much moss on the stones this spring. Now? "It will be cleaned in time," are the exact words from race director Jean-Francois Pescheux, a funny way of describing the most recognizable and typically unrideable cobblestones of the Queen of the Classics. I mean, where does moss land on the list of problems with riding through a strip of stones that look like they were dropped from a helicopter?

Anyway, since I get a lot of things wrong (have you seen my FSA DS teams?) I feel entitled to post this:

This isn't from having special connections or race insight; it's simply a matter of having kids. "Clean up this mess or else [insert plausible threat]!" Totally works. Always has.
