Leipheimer Wins Stage 6 at Larry H Miller Tour Of Utah

Levi Leipheimer (Omega-Pharma Quickstep) soloed to victory in Park City today at the Larry H Miller Tour Of Utah. Leipheimer attacked on the final climb of the KIng Stage on a route that he brought to eh organizers after last summers edition of the race. Midway up the roughly surfaced route Leipheimer passed Rory Sutherland (United Healthcare) and the remnants of a day long breakaway. Leipheimer finished 49 seconds up on the group which contained Rabobank's Steven Kruijswijck and third place finisher Koenig.

BMC Racing rode a tactically perfect race to maintain Johann Tschopp's position in the overall race lead. Matthew Busche (Radio Shack-Nisson-Trek) finished in the number two spot overall, while NetApp's Leopold Koenig filled out he podium. BMC limited Leipheimer's gains to only one minute on GC leader Tschopp.
