From Yellow to Gold ..The Wiggo-summer of 2012 : part 1

It really was an English cycling summer , SKY was the limit !

I was photographer and the Champs Elysées and at the Olympic Men Race in London , so i want to let you taste the English atmosphere in Paris and London ..

In this first part i take you to :

Paris-Champs Elysées - 22 th of july 2012

It was a beautiful day , everywhere English Wiggo and Cav - look alikes ...

Even Tom Simpson was remembered !

The worlds most beautiful avenue ws waiting for glory itself ...

First passage at the Champs E : the 'Team Sky' - express-train arrives ..

Up to another sprint ? Cav for nr 4 on the Champs ?

No problem at all ...

The final podium ceremony ...

Yes , this is a rare picture , the first time we see Wiggo smile and - believe me - his smile was very short ..

Look at that podium : how glad they are to stand there ? Waw..and then knowing that they have to suffer 3 weeks to make it possible to stand overthere ...
