Marianne Vos and Lars van der Haar to lead the Dutch squad at CX Worlds

The KNWU has announced its provisional selection for the 2013 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships on February 2 and 3.

Defending champion Marianne Vos (Rabobank Liv/Giant)will lead the three-woman Dutch squad, which include fellow Rabobank Liv/Giant teammates Sanne Paassen and Sabrina Stultiens.

Lars van der Haar (Rabo Development Team), Twan van den Brand and Thijs van Amerongen have been chosen to represent the Netherlands in the elite men's field.

The U23 squad so far consists of Mike Teunissen, Emiel Dolfsma, Corné van Kessel, David van der Poel and Michiel van der Heijden. A sixth U23 spot has yet to be assigned. This spot can be earned during the llast World Cup race in Hoogerheide on Sunday, Jan. 20.

The junior riders to represent the Netherlands are Mathieu van der Poel, Martijn Budding and Richard Jansen.

Exceptional performances at Hoogerheide may see the roster changed. Coach Johan Lammerts will make his final selection on Tuesday, Jan. 22.
