Embrun - Chorges 32 km Timetrial
It's hard to even recall a similar TT in a Grand Tour with two major climbs and descents. It is probably most similar to the timetrials in the Vuelta a Pais Vasco. Very unpredictable day. There is also rumblings that the later starters run a big risk of facing rain on their ride which might affect the fight for the stage win.

Should the weather play up then names like Lieuwe Westra, Svein Tuft and Cam Meyer could be interesting to follow. Tony Martin seems to have taken himself off the favorites list but who knows how much sandbagging that is.
