Prestige Series wraps up at Cascade Classic

Haeusler, Kiesanowski and Ramsden take home the coveted jerseys

The Cascade Cycling Classic marked the final event of the Women's Prestige Cycling Series, which also included the Redland Cycling Classic and the Nature Valley Grand Prix.

With a mission to promote women’s racing, the Women’s Prestige Cycling Series is the only national series solely for women. Since 2004, it has given women racers a spotlight they do not have to share with men. The series requires media exposure in the major outlets. To be a part of the series a race must put up 2000usd. That money is then put in a pool that goes to the individual winners and the teams that participate in the series. The competition is open to teams only and teams must send rider to each of the events included in the series.

The series recognition includes jerseys and a prize purse for the winning racers and teams. This year's final jersey winners are:
