North Star Grand Prix

I think this might be my very favourite USA race, and it definitely makes me want to visit Minnesota! There were videos from the women's and men's stages, and so many I'm not going to embed them all, but here are the links...

the Stage 1 ITT, Stage 2 Crit, Stage 3, Stage 4, Stage 5 and Stage 6:

And I especially loved this - footage filmed on Alison Powers' bike as she lead out Coryn Rivera for the Stage 4 Crit win

Alison Powers has had this amazing season, and I think it's partly to do with her decision not to race in Europe at all.  Find out more about it in Clara Beard’s interview with her on Bicycling.

Other forms of racing

I've got all the videos I've found from the Leogang downhill MTB World Cup over here, but if you love helmetcam videos, check out this video from Manon Carpenter's winning run (WOW!)  UPDATE! And even better - Manon's helmetcam put side-by-by with second-placed Rachel Atherton's run, so you can see where the race was won - watch it now, on Red Bull Bike, it's fantastic!

There was also the BMX Supercross World Cup in Berlin, and the videos are in my podcast post, but again, more helmetcam video too - from Brooke Crain (including her crash), Felicia Stancil (with great jumping shadows) and former World Champ Mariana Pajon (including the moment Caroline Buchanan passed her, and celebrated her win:

MORE!

There are all kinds of other other videos, interviews and blogs in my podcast post, and I'm quoted in this great piece by CrankPunk on salaries (and one dick too many) in women's cycling - go and read it!
