Pismo Beach - Avila Beach 173.1 km

A race from one beach to another, this really is the Tour of California isn't it. Hint though, and let me put this in terms that californians can understand. Putting the climb in the middle of the stage is a bit like having the waves breaking 4 kms out to sea, it doesn't do much for the surfing.
