Must be the most important final stage in the race's history. After Sagan's spirited defense yesterday on Mount Baldy he is only 2 seconds behind leading Julian Alaphilippe. With intermediate bonuses of 3,2 & 1 seconds on hand and bonuses of 10, 6 & 4 seconds at the finish Etixx will have their work cut out for them keeping Sagan behind Alaphilippe. On paper it looks like a very even and unpredictable duel.

Etixx will be supremely focused on this and Cav should be able to pull it off. How on earth they are going to keep Sagan out of the top 3 though is beyond me and will be thrilling to watch.
