Struggling for a reason to get up early to watch cyclocross?

If Mathieu van der Poel cares this much about entertaining you, then maybe you should be just as interested. As I noted on Twitter, this was on the last lap of a hotly contested race, though at the time Wout Van Aert was out of the picture. Still, if he’d wrecked, he’d have lost the race. But MvdP delivers the extra effort because, well, it’s pretty hard not to be excited about cyclocross right now.
