On the Scene for Giro d'Italia Stages 20 and 21

Well, I had been planning to do just one post with pics from the last four Giro stages, but the site didn't seem to like me putting so many photos in one story, so here's part two.

The first three finishers on stage 20 at Sant'Anna di Vinadio: Rein Taaramae, Darwin Atapuma, and Joe Dombrowski.

After gaining more than the 43 seconds he needed to overtake Kruijswijk on GC, Valverde seemed thrilled to have gotten on the Giro podium.  He circled the finish area on his bike, grinning and waving to the crowd, until Visconti finished 50 seconds later, and then threw his arms around his teammate.

Chaves lost more than a minute and a half, and the maglia rosa, to Nibali.

In Torino, the eight neutralized circuit apparently didn't give the Astana team enough time to group together, but Nibali finished with two teammates by his side.

Valverde brought the whole family to Torino to celebrate with him, and the little Valverdes were podium-ready, waving, clapping, and helpfully displaying their dad's prizes.

Nibali's little daughter looked angelic all in pink, but didn't seem quite as comfortable with all the podium commotion.
