Quaregnon - Dour 202 km

One of the consistently excellent Wednesday races over the last few years. Partly due to the excellently treacherous course and partly due to some nasty weather conditions that have given this race a true hardman flavour.

Dour Dominator of the Day: Tosh van der Sande

Sadly we see a much weaker start field for Le Samyn this year. I must admit I haven’t been following closely enough to say why so few WT teams are showing up this year. Maybe last year was too tough for them? Is they scawwed?

Anyway Tosh looks like a decent bet from one of the big teams. Or maybe Tim Declercq gets his day in the sun for Quick Step?
