Today on the PodCafSt, it’s a Specialità, our opening coverage of the Giro d’Italia. Join us for a discussion of the race, its top riders, its parcours, its opening stages, and most importantly of all, a bunch of prop bets we adopted or made up for entertainment purposes.
OK, the props you should know about are:
- Number of riders to finish the Giro (160.5 o/u)
- Number of points by the winner of the points competition (225 o/u)
- Stage on/after which the eventual winner of the Giro takes the maglia rosa for good (16 o/u)
- Number of stages won by the eventual overall winner of the Giro (1.5 o/u)
I am going to say now that I am putting $10 (from my mythical “bank”) on each of my prop bets. My Gorilla points winner pick is already looking pretty bad, frankly, so I need to do everything I can to get back in the black.
As always, you can find the PodCafSt on iTunes, or SoundCloud, or via our RSS feed.
