It was the usual story in Paris for the final stage of the Tour de France — champagne, relaxedness and a crazy final few kilometres. John Degenkolb launched the sprint in the shadow of the Arc du Triomphe, but Alexander Kristoff just about got around him to win his first stage of the Tour de France since 2014. Geraint Thomas completed the stage unscathed to make his permanent mark on Tour de France history. That'll do, I think.

Houilles - Paris 116 km
Champagne and procession time. Will all the sheep in Paris be lining the race route?
Last of the Bonapartes : Alexander Kristoff
The Norwegians have had uncharacteristically little to cheer for so far. It's ominous.
