Another bike race in Baltimore? Charm City Cross-in living color

Having lived in Baltimore for 20+ years, I finally made it a point to check out Charm City Cross. So Sunday morning, I made the short drive across town to Druid Hill Park and checked out some cross. I had plans for the afternoon so I didn't get to see the pros, but I was able to check out the everyman/woman riders. So let's get to the pictures...

That little hill in the back is probably the toughest part of the course.

Riders during the course inspection ride. I was talking to one of the course workers and he said that this hill is featured every year, but this is the first time they have featured a switchback.

This is a nasty transition, a little wet dirt to pavement. I saw a couple of riders fishtail here.

I have a few rolls of black and white to work through, I will post them at a later date. I have admit, I almost tempted to try this out, but I would have to buy a cyclocross bike and my wife said if I did I would have to sell a camera or two....so we'll see.
